Congratulations, China

Two years after China took its place in the elite club of world space powers by launching its first manned space mission, today China's Shenzhou-6 spacecraft lifted off carrying two more taikonauts into Earth orbit.

As T. L. James on MarsBlog notes, China has now launched twice as many manned spacecraft in the past two and a half years as the US.
